About Elyse
I am a French tutor with more than 3 years of experience and a Master’s in French Language and Literature. My focus is on beginners who want a supportive and fun start to the language. My style is patient and encouraging, with humor woven into every lesson. I believe hobbies are the best way to learn, so we use activities like gardening, knitting, or painting as our guide. Lessons are project-based, helping you apply grammar and vocabulary directly. Visual aids and simple demonstrations make words easy to understand. We also use short, creative narratives to bring grammar alive. Students often feel motivated because they’re speaking about things they care about. Confidence builds step by step, without pressure.
