He was a really good teacher: I became more fluent in speaking and learn new expressions (especially those more informal) without me feeling like I was in a traditional scholastic lesson. A year into his GCSE course, my son was predicted a D or even an E grade and was struggling hugely . He needed some help to go over the basics and to start to develop his confidence that it was not too late and that he could still achieve a pass grade. Michael proved to be an excellent tutor, connecting well with my son and making his weekly session an enjoyable experience. I have no doubt that Michael's input made all the difference . As parents, we were also able to communicate with him well and he was flexible when needed. I would heartily recommend him .

Michael tutored me through my French A level and Spanish AS level. He has an exceptional knowledge of languages and linguistics and helped me a great deal with understanding the things I couldn't get from my previous classes. He really helped me to improve my grammatical understanding of the languages and boosted my confidence in speaking and pronunciation; before my classes with Michael I was really scared about speaking, but he really changed what I thought couldn't be changed.
