About Melissa
I hold a bachelor's degree from NYU in performance studies. My background is tailored towards those who are looking to become artists within the craft of music using a variety of methods from yoga, vocal warm-ups I use, & acting. I am not super well-versed in music theory so if that's what you're looking for please know I am not a professional in that regard. I am an intuitive teacher and like to strengthen my student's creative and spiritual abilities with music.

Hi ! If you're just learning a new song, I typically focus on performance techniques (how you're expressing yourself and interpreting the song), dynamics (high low, low soft, vibrato no vibrato, breath no breath) and give vocal warm ups. The lessons I give are for people who have never sung before that want a good introduction into music.
