About Kevin
I am Jazz, a Latin Jazz vocalist, composer, arranger, and vocal coach who graduated from The City College of New York. Also, I hold a vocal coach certificate from Modern Vocal Training and have attended different conferences regarding vocal technique, pedagogy, health, and vocal science. Even though I specialize in jazz and Latin genres, I can train you and help you explore easier ways to improve your interpretation and vocal technique healthily in any genre. In my class, we'll use personalized vocal warm-ups according to the needs your voice may have. We'll navigate your repertoire and explore ways to solve the problems you have in these songs. (For example, not being able to reach a high note or projecting your voice.) My classes are directed at any type of student (beginners or advanced). The only requirement I ask is to be eager to learn.

Bilingual Music Academy is an amazing program. Kevin does such a great job with the kids. Both my children are taught by Kevin, one does singing and the other cajon. Kevin has worked with my child and made him come out of shell and enjoy playing an instrument. My other child has learned different techniques for signing and is starting a performance arts school this year. The dedication and time and energy that they put into the classes, hmwk and the class review has helped my child improve tremendously. And they teach in both English and Spanish (win!), the virtual option as well was a god send for us. Thank you Bilingual Music Academy for your dedication.
My daughter received piano and singing clases. Kevin was amazing, he had a lot of patience, showed dedication and had a fun approach with young kids. Totally recommend his clases.
