About Erin
I have been singing professionally for over 20 years in opera, musical theater. Because of my training, I also enjoy singing rock music in a small band. I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to travel all over the world for my music, and as a teacher, I like to bring those experiences to my students. I have a doctoral degree in vocal performance and vocal pedagogy, which is the study and understanding of the singing voice. I have been teaching both privately and collegiately for over 25 years combined.

Singing is more than just opening your mouth and hearing sounds come out. It’s a full body and mind exercise, that requires good technique to keep a healthy voice long-term. In my experience as a singer and teacher, the same basic principles apply to all singing, regardless of style or genre. It’s my job as a voice teacher, not to change your sound or style, but to help you create the very best version of it.
