About Lucía
I am a teacher with a degree in piano at the Conservatory of Arturo Soria, specialized in composition. I have given classes to children and adults, piano, music reading and improvisation basics. Good support in complementary piano or preparing works for concert. I have experience in theater and vocal + singing exercises.

My classes are based on technical fundamentals and memorizing exercises, with finger-focused training and a specific program based on classical composers. The first half of the class is technique, understanding of the music and analyzing its structure. The second half is adaptable to the student and their interests: improvisation, pieces by contemporary authors, voice + accompaniment of piano, jazz, etc.

Lucia es una estupenda docente. Además de tener un buen oído para la música y para detectar los errores (infalibe) es rigurosa y ordenada. En sus clases combinó la enseñanza del piano con la recomendación de grupos o estilos musicales que me cambiaron la forma de ver la música. Siempre esta animada y tiene una gran paciencia. Totalmente recomendable!
Lucía es una gran músico, y gran persona, su polifacética formación en Bellas Artes y el Conservatorio, hacen de ella una persona muy interesante, inteligente y culta. Sus capacidades como pedagoga van desde la paciencia, hasta el detallismo y un seguimiento personal muy cuidado hacia el alumno/a, además de una capacidad comunicativa y empática alta. Tener de profesora de piano a Lucía fue un verdadero lujo.
