About Amadeus
I am a 19-year old classically trained pianist who has been learning piano for 16 years and have completed the Grade 8 AMEB syllabus. I have also previously taught students using the AMEB syllabus.
I have extensive performance experience in concerts and competitions. I tutor piano on a regular basis and commonly work with students from a beginner level as well as young pianists who are keen to improve.
I'm experienced with teaching students from ages 3+ and have taught students who have wanted to learn the piano as a hobby as well as for AMEB examinations.

My main focus is to create and work towards achieving certain learning goals with students. Another focus I have is on the basic fundamentals of piano playing, ensuring that students can understand and demonstrate correct techniques and practise habits.
I have a friendly approach whilst teaching and am always encouraging and patient with students as they continue to learn. Additionally, my teaching style is flexible to suit your individual learning style.
The first lesson is always free allowing you to see whether you like the lessons as well as gives you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you want. It also gives me the opportunity to gauge the current level you're at, allowing me time to prepare and organise a suitable and appropriate learning program.

Amadeus was recommended to me by a friend as a piano tutor. After hearing his teaching style I thought I'd reach out and try myself, as I wanted to become more proficient in music theory. I had a very basic understanding before we started, but after our brief stint of 5 hour-long lessons I was grasping concepts and utilizing them MUCH faster than ever possible on my own or via other pathways that I had used. He was incredibly patient and understanding through the entire process, slowing down when needed and simplifying difficult concepts into extremely bite-sized and manageable pieces. I absolutely recommend Amadeus to anyone ranging in skill levels from beginner to upper intermediate as his understanding of theory and practice is incredibly deep, yet easy to follow and work with.
