About Nicolas
Bonjour! My name is Nicolas and I’m a native French speaker from Lyon. I hold a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in the healthcare industry, and I have over ten years of professional experience in project management, logistics, journalism and of course teaching French!
I've been teaching French for the last few years, in-person and online, to classes and individual students. I’m passionate about languages and currently studying Indonesian and German—so I know what it takes to learn a new language, and how rewarding it can be.
I bring patience, structure, and enthusiasm to every lesson. Whether you're a beginner or already advanced, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow with confidence.

As a native French speaker who used to live in New York, I use both French and English in my daily life, which helps me clearly explain concepts and guide students through the challenges of language learning. I love learning new languages myself—I'm currently studying Indonesian and German—so I understand what it’s like to be in your shoes. My lessons are tailored to teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and always adapted to your personal goals.

Perfect! Nicolas is a great tutor. He is super kind and attentive and flexible in his teaching approach. He has a lot of experience teaching French in classroom settings and 1:1 tutoring and will cater lessons to your skill-level and personal interests. I definitely recommend!!
Perfect! Introductory lesson went well and he met me at my level. Will use a combination of methods during upcoming lessons including video, printed grammar exercises.
