About Amelia
I came to the UK for university and studied Law at Oxford. I achieved a 2.1 degree a couple of years ago before receiving my training contract offer. I recently completed the LPC LLM at the University of Law, receiving a distinction (individual subject results below in CV).

My lessons are aimed at those preparing for, or currently undertaking, the Legal Practice Course. I start by getting to know you as a student - which areas do you feel confident in? Where are you struggling? How do you learn best? From there we can devise a plan for how to develop your knowledge and ability in particular modules.
With courses having moved online, I believe one major concern for many has been a lack of motivation to thoroughly self-study. This can be especially so with the LPC, because no one is going to really notice if you haven't prepared properly. With me as your tutor, you can bet I'll monitor your progress, and while I am gentle and friendly, I also don't let my students slack off. Together, we'll work hard, and it will pay off - and the feeling at the end is pretty amazing.

Perfect! Aimee has been helping me prepare for my upcoming LPC exams. She is helpful, patient and effectively translates concepts that I find difficult with ease. She goes over and beyond in her teaching, and I feel confident after our lessons. I would advise any LPC or LLB student to carry out lessons with her - wish I had known her at the start of my LLB!

Amelia is a fabulous tutor. She was able to explain things in a clear and direct way, and break them down into pieces so I could understand the foundation. She is also a lovely person and just has a way of subtly boosting your confidence and making you believe in yourself. She actively engages in each session, is well prepared and has an amazing practical knowledge of the LPC.
Amelia has tutored my son and her ability to explain concepts in a practical and readily comprehensible manner is what separates her from other tutors.
