About Maria

Bonjour! If you're searching for a skilled tutor who can teach your child French in a fun and engaging way, look no further! My name is Maria, and I'm a dedicated high school student with experience tutoring in both English and French as well as a working instructor to students of all ages. I'm proud to say that every student I've worked with has achieved outstanding results. I make every effort to ensure that my lessons are enjoyable and engaging, and my students always look forward to each session.

With 12 years of dedicated French language study, including 8 years in a French immersion school, I am now continuing my French education in high school, where I have earned 2 Certificates of Distinction in the language and a certified diploma from the Collège Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière for French.

As a passionate teacher, I'm the perfect fit for children as young as preschoolers up to high school students. I firmly believe that French is a beautiful language, and I feel grateful every day for the opportunity to learn it and now teach it. I'm committed to sharing that same sense of appreciation with my students and to helping them achieve their language goals. Contact me today to schedule your child's first lesson and unlock the beauty of French together!

About the lesson

I bring language to life through engaging, hands-on lessons that build confidence and practical skills in speaking, reading, and writing. My teaching approach centers on interactive learning, with an emphasis on real-world skills. I incorporate diverse methods—such as games, role-playing, and multimedia resources—to keep students engaged and motivated across a range of topics.

A typical lesson plan with me would start with a review of previous material, followed by an introduction to new vocabulary and grammar concepts, and then practice exercises and conversation practice. I always tailor my lessons to the specific needs and learning style of each student.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my dedication to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for my students. I believe that building a strong relationship with each student is essential for their success, and I always strive to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience.

Whether your child is a beginner or has some previous French knowledge, my lessons are designed to help them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Contact me today to schedule a lesson!
