About Sara
I am a student in Melbourne University studying French (advanced) and Spanish (beginner). I am Japanese but I also consider myself an Australian because I grew up here. I studied French for 6 years in high school from beginner level up until VCE 3/4 and I have experience tutoring VCE French students.

As an experienced language learner, I know that learning a foreign language can be a frustrating process, especially during its initial stages. But at the same time, engaging with French for the past 6 years has taught me that it can be a truly fun and rewarding experience depending on how we approach it.
My journey to mastering French as a non-native speaker allows me to think from the perspective of my students and help them keep motivated throughout the learning process using strategies that helped me become fluent in French.
I am also a patient and enthusiastic teacher, who loves helping students become more confident in their abilities by helping them achieve their learning goals. If you are interested in being tutored by me, feel free to send me a message.
