About Elena

I'm a Russian native speaker with the economics degree from Saint-Petersburg University of Economics and Finance, now living in Melbourne and teaching Russian language. I have been giving lessons for more than 20 years (starting with my own kids and family in Australia and extended to local students in Melbourne).
I love what I do!

About the lesson

My Philosophy is to teach students by their individual requirements and level of language knowledge.
I will start with learning Russian alphabet and finish with reading Leo Tolstoy's and Alexander Pushkin's books.
My Methodology
- One on one approach targeted to individuals who are looking to improve their Russian language skills in oral expression, written expression as well as vocabulary and literacy skills
- I supply the study materials based on the skill level of an individual

Elena was my Russian tutor throughout my 3 years of study at the University of Melbourne. She dedicated countless hours to improving my ability to read, write and understand Russian. With her help, I was able to receive First Class Honours for every Russian subject that I undertook. I highly recommend Elena!
