About Stephanie
I am a certified music teacher who has spent the last 4 years teaching elementary music in public, charter, private, and fine arts academies across the DFW area. I have played piano since I was 7 and am currently teaching private piano lessons to students from 3.5 - 16 years old. I received my Bachelors in Music Education from Dallas Baptist University in 2015 and I will graduate in May of 2019 with my Masters in Educational Leadership. I also will have my Texas Principal Certification.

Each of my lessons consist of three elements. First, a fun warm up to build technique and finger dexterity. Second, each time you sit down to play the piano, you will have at least 2 -4 songs from different styles of music. That means that we get to play fun music that could be contemporary, classical, jazz, popular, from a movie, or something you have heard on the radio. Lastly, we finish with music theory. This part of the lesson helps make connections from how we play to what we play.
