About Louise
I have obtained the following licentiates: F.Dip Kdp, L.Mus (Unisa), LTCL ATCL theory My career started in orchestras and chamber ensembles during 1980's. I held various organ positions. Currently full-time private music educator. Because music is a growing field, I am studying further to stay in touch with development.

Teaching methods evolved drastically, but music seemed to have remained behind. We seek to upgrade music education by employing a more organic teaching style.
Tuition is conducted in both Afrikaans or English; ages ranging from 5yrs to retirement.
Lesson length and frequency depends on student's level and needs, but no less than one half-hour class per week.
We also offer online classes.
My main aim in music education is to teach in such a way that students actually understand the language of music, and can start helping themselves independently on their own level, and even a level above their own.

Ah! Louise is a very rare person and such a gem to find. She took up the challenge of teaching me piano BUT she taught me so much more ... the appreciation of the deeper aspects of music.
