About Martin

I have taught in the formal education sector and have also worked in the private ( industrial ) sector, so have much experience of working in the outside world. Mathematics has many life lessons, it reinforces the importance of hard work, communication and confidence in not being afraid of failure. Wrong answers can always be corrected by asking questions and re-applying the theory.

About the lesson

I try to assess Learner progress to date and apply suitably appropriate lessons depending on the assessment. If the Learner doesn't grasp the theory from his normal classes, I will revise.
I try to explain the learning process and, at each stage of the lesson, communicate what I am doing and why.
Typical lesson length 30-40 mins.
I have a degree in Mathematics and an Education ( teaching ) diploma.
I am qualified for beginners up to school leavers
