About Ayla
I am a classical violinist and grew up in England. I am half German and half Turkish and grew up bilingually (German/English). I did my Bachelor of Music at the Royal Academy of Music in London and am now doing my Masters at the Mozarteum Salzburg. I had piano and violin lessons until I was 18, then I concentrated on the violin. Music has always been the focus of my life and it is my passion to bring music to as many people as possible.
I believe music is for everyone and is one of the best things a child can learn as they learn so much at once (discipline, creativity, listening, focus, teamwork). In fact, playing an instrument has been shown to be the only activity that activates all areas of the brain simultaneously!
I love teaching and passing on the skills that have been given to me. I've seen firsthand the importance of an engaged and inspiring teacher when trying to learn a new skill or hobby.

I can change my approach depending on what you need and can use a very methodical approach or even just help you play for fun and keep the music in your life.
