About Rhea

Hello! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MA in Bilingual Education with a French Focus in applied linguistics. I specialize in making French learning accessible, flexible, and engaging for all types of students. My lessons are student-led, allowing each person to focus on their goals, whether it’s conversation, grammar, or vocabulary. I use technology to enhance learning, including virtual whiteboards, vocabulary apps, and speech recognition tools. These tools help students practice effectively, even in remote sessions. I have experience teaching learners across time zones and cultures, adapting my methods to suit different needs and backgrounds. My sessions are interactive and designed to make learning enjoyable while building confidence. I focus on practical communication, cultural understanding, and real-life application of the language. Students gain not only language skills but also the ability to express themselves fluently and naturally. Learning French should be fun and flexible, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we make progress, explore culture, and enjoy the journey of mastering a new language—wherever you are in the world.

About the lesson

My French teaching approach is practical, fun, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on helping students speak confidently in real-life situations, using role-playing exercises like ordering in restaurants, asking for directions, or traveling abroad. We explore self-expression through conversations, storytelling, and discussions, so learning feels natural and engaging. I also teach reading, writing, vocabulary, and practical grammar shortcuts that make learning faster and easier. Lessons include listening exercises, pronunciation practice, and cultural insights to make language learning meaningful. I use interactive activities, games, and real-world examples to keep sessions lively and memorable. Whether preparing for exams, travel, or everyday communication, I support students in mastering the language step by step. I emphasize understanding, practice, and repetition to build lasting confidence. My method encourages curiosity and creativity while keeping grammar and structure simple. With consistent guidance, students improve fluency, comprehension, and self-expression. By combining practical skills with enjoyable exercises, I help students achieve real progress. Together, we make learning French exciting, effective, and deeply rewarding.
