About Jamie
Hello!
My name is Jamie & I'm a current undergraduate student studying BSc Psychology with Criminology & student ambassador at Loughborough University.
As a tutor, my aim is to enlighten young minds in a positive, enticing and effective manner – alongside encouraging creativity and stimulating higher-order thinking – with the aim of increasing every student’s passion towards learning and their academic performance.
I have mentored students for several years. My sessions are designed to accommodate for all levels and ages to support your specific requirements in the most effective manner.
The institution which I currently study Psychology with Criminology at for my degree is within the top 10 of every UK National League Table. At A-level I have been ranked within the top 3.9% of England in my strongest subjects and at GCSE I have ranked within the top 2.3% of England. Therefore, you can be assured that I will guide you in the right direction and support you to reach your maximum potential.

My approach to tutoring is designed to accommodate for your individual needs and provide you with a variety of highly transferable skills to support your education and personal development in a multitude of different areas.
I utilise praise and positivity to maintain motivation amongst my students and encourage them to develop confidence as an independent academic through my support and advice.
My timetable for lessons is very flexible.

Some of the broader common aspects that have been consolidated through my tutoring include: Approaches to Essay Writing, Short Answer Exam Questions and Understanding of Concepts.
