About Eric
I’m a software engineer at Monzo working on the Children’s Banking product, where I build high-scale backend systems used by millions of customers. Before that, I worked at FactSet, where I helped integrate LLM technology into real products and developed full stack software in a fast-paced commercial environment.
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class BSc in Computer Science, and I’ve been passionate about programming since I was 16. Over the years, I’ve built strong experience across software engineering, from clean code and object-oriented programming to APIs, databases, cloud systems, and shipping real products that users rely on every day.
In my lessons, I focus on making programming practical and easy to understand. I’m a professional software engineer at Monzo, with a First Class BSc in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh and previous experience at FactSet. I help beginners and aspiring developers learn how to build real iOS apps using Swift — from fundamentals to publishing on the App Store.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to level up, I’ll guide you through practical, hands-on projects so you actually build and ship apps, not just follow tutorials.
