About Amelie

I was born and raised in San Diego, but both of my parents are from Brittany, France. Growing up I spoke French at home and I would go to France every summer to visit my family. I consider myself a native speaker and I attended the Alliance Française and received a 5 on the AP French Exam.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on conversational French, using speaking practice, personalized media recommendations, and effective language-learning techniques. As someone raised speaking French without formal schooling in France, I developed my own methods to maintain proper French, which I incorporate alongside traditional exercises and grammar. I tend to target people who are in the beginning stages of learning.
