About Justin

Is your child struggling with physics or science? I can help. Hi, I'm Justin G., a tutor based out of Los Angeles, California. I graduated with honors in both of my degrees, including an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, Science and Mathematics, and I'm a member of multiple honor societies. I started teaching as a college aide for Long Beach Unified School District in 2021, and since then I've worked as a private tutor, recreational aide, youth development professional, and Project Specialist at Coastline College in Newport Beach. I teach English, math, physics, and history — anything up to high school level. I'm currently tutoring a high school student in Algebra 2, so I know exactly where students get stuck and how to get them unstuck. With 6+ years of teaching experience, I happily teach little kids too — we keep things patient, fun, and encouraging.

About the lesson

Physics makes a lot more sense when someone takes the time to really explain it — that's what I do. With 6+ years of teaching experience, I've helped students from middle school through college get comfortable with everything from motion and forces to electricity and magnetism. My lessons are patient and step-by-step: we break big ideas into small pieces, work through lots of examples, and go at your pace. I'm happy to help with homework, labs, and test prep. I also love teaching little kids — we keep things fun and hands-on so science feels exciting, not intimidating.
