About Laura

Hello fellow lockdownees! I have been teaching Pilates for over 10 years with an emphasis on holistic work, which means not only training the body, but also its connection to our minds. I am a former ballet and contemporary dancer, with extensive experience in other bodywork therapies, as well as yoga and meditation.

About the lesson

I believe that no method is 100% complete, so I include elements of methods that I have personally benefited from, such as yoga, meditation, various bodywork therapies, meridian stretching, Gyrokinesis, among others. I put together programs for one-to-one and group classes, with enough room for spontaneity to meet the participants' current needs.

I have known Laura for years and whenever I get half a chance I take one of her classes.
She’s very good at what she does and on top of that she’s extremely patient and funny and kind. I feel always much much better and surprisingly flexible after seeing her. I can highly recommend her. She’s also speaking several languages (Portugese, Spanish, German, English) so there shouldn’t be any communication problems.

Ich hab Laura schon live und als Online-Pilates-Trainerin erlebt und kann beides sehr, sehr empfehlen! Laura ist immer positiv und eine sehr motivierende, aufmerksame und verständnisvolle, aber auch fordernde Lehrerin. Man merkt, dass sie viele Jahre Erfahrung hat und auf jede Person mit ihren eigenen Bedürfnissen eingehen kann. Sie sieht genau, was man braucht, woran man arbeiten kann und welche Fortschritte man gemacht hat. Man fühlt sich gesehen und ernst genommen, das finde ich extrem wichtig bei einem Lehrer und das tut wirklich gut und hilft mir, weiter zu kommen. So spürt man auch schon nach kurzer Zeit, wie man Fortschritte macht, flexibler und stärker wird. Meine Lieblingslehrerin!
