My lessons always start with a diagnostic: I'll hear you play anything you feel comfortable with, ask you what you're hoping to achieve and give you feedback and practical advice from there. As a tutor, I like to be thorough with whichever topic you want to work on. After all, I want you going home with a clearer, as well practical exercises to guide you through your difficulties.
