About Gagan
I teach piano in a way which enhances learning and gaining the best of both the worlds, AKA the Indian classical and the western classical music being fused together. The student would know to use both the languages and use it in times of need which promotes speed of thinking capacity and musical ability. When most look forward into just one language of training, I tend to incorporate both which has its own advantages. Indian classical notes are the most versatile and can be used in all the scales, whereas, the western notes have to be tweaked each and every time when there's a need of change in scale. Indian classical is the most practical oriented and is the best for quick burst of precision performances. Western music is advantageous as it's known world-wide and is primarily used to western classical pieces and of course for their prep for the graded exams from dense institutes like Trinity College London/ ABRSM / RCM I also train the students in terms of composing skills where we give a specific environment description and the student has to play music which suits the environment regarding which they're given. Training by ear is another different skill which pays off in the long run and has an edge over usual traditional note reading for a lifetime in terms of precision performance. So, this is the one time stop where the student will get all the resources which he/she needs for their musical growth.

I teach in the most detailed way in terms of how the piano must be played correctly, as that is more important than what is to be played. Each session of mine usually lasts for an hour long. I hold a distinction in Grade 5 piano performance and Grade 3 theory from Trinity College of London. Currently pursuing Grade 7. I hold over 20 years of playing experience and 8+ years of teaching experience. The lessons are for both kids and adults ranging from basic to advanced.
