About Sophia
As a piano and music teacher, I have enjoyed working with children and families for many years since 2004. My students are of all ages from 4yrs to 70yrs. If you like music, let’s get started!
I have fostered creativity throughout my teaching career and my students have always given me positive feedback. I use play with singing to teach, based on students' interests, and integrate drawing and writing in the music theory, rhythm and pitch games. Also I always play with my students together and they can have a joy of cooperation.
I hold Diploma of Early Childhood Education, AEMB/ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, Bachelor of Music Education and Senior International Chinese Language qualification authentication.
I am a friendly and enthusiastic person and you will discover that I am a very capable and happy person.
I like teaching to inspire a joy for playing, starting from wherever your musical journey.

- I use play with singing to teach, based on students' interests, and integrate drawing and writing in the music theory, rhythm and pitch game. - 45 mins or 1 hour per class - I can teach all levels for any ages. - First 30 min lesson is always free to see if we're a good fit and also an assessment to see what level you are at so we can design a program to fit you.
