About Valerie
I've been learning piano since the age of 3, and I still haven't stopped learning or practicing. I believe in the importance of loving what you do: I noticed I was progressing a lot further when I played what I wanted, as practice was no longer a chore. I want to recreate that feeling in my students, as I believe making music should be fun.

I like to teach what the student wants to learn, while also making sure technique is in place. It's all well and good doing lots and lots of work on technique in the traditional manner, but I believe it is more fun if you learn while you enjoy what you play.
