About Selen
Music runs in my family, and I’ve been singing since age four. I’m a multidisciplinary, improvisational artist trained in classical Turkish music, with guitar and voice studies at a part-time city conservatory, and additional training in piano. I’ve performed and recorded with multiple bands across Turkish and English repertoires, coached vocals, organized recitals, and written notation. I’m also a keen user of modern digital music programs to keep learning engaging. Over the past ten years, I’ve specialized in teaching children—blending musicianship, creativity, and calm structure so young learners build real confidence at the keyboard. Bilingual (Turkish/English) and happy to share references on request.

Short, engaging activities keep focus high; duets and simple improvisation spark curiosity. Parents receive clear weekly practice notes and gentle goals, with regular check-ins to celebrate progress. I’m continually refining a unique method for young piano learners—tested over 10 years and showing proven success in steady, joyful progress. Suitable for beginners through early intermediates, in person or online. References available on request.
