I am a graduate student in Sociolinguistics (MA) at Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts in French Language Acquisition. I have worked for two years as a French language conversation group leader and writing assistant at Concordia's Student Success Centre.

My teaching method aims at providing a structured, yet relaxed and stress-free environment in which students can practice and improve their language skills. The main priority is to improve the student's confidence in their speaking abilities through speaking and listening in group settings meant to reflect real-life social situations.

Je suis français et j'apprends l'anglais depuis de nombreuses années. Parmi les nombreux professeurs que j'ai côtoyé, Emily est certainement la professeure la plus patiente, professionnelle et attentive que j'ai eu. Son bon niveau de français allié à une connaissance en profondeur de la langue anglaise et de ses spécificités m'ont permis de faire un bond dans ma progression. Il y a aussi le fait qu'Emily est originaire d'Arizona, l'anglais est donc sa langue maternelle. Son expérience actuelle en tant qu'étudiante en dernière année en baccalauréat d'études françaises et son apprentissage du français à Paris lui permettent d'apprécier tout particulièrement les difficultés liées à l'apprentissage et au perfectionnement d'une langue seconde. Que vous ayez besoin d'aide à l'orale ou à l'écrit elle saura vous aider à améliorer votre anglais.
