About Maliyah

I’ve been playing the piano since I was five years old, and music has been a big part of my life ever since! I also play the guitar, which has allowed me to explore different styles of music and expand my understanding of music as a whole.

Along with my musical background, I’m also a first-grade teacher with experience creating engaging lessons, adapting to different learning styles, and helping students build confidence in their abilities.

I believe learning an instrument should be exciting, not intimidating! My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual pace and goals. Whether you’re learning your very first notes or looking to improve your skills, I strive to create a comfortable environment where you can learn, make mistakes, and grow.

My goal is not just to teach you how to play piano, but to help you develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music!
