About Chloe
I have just completed my second year of studying French at a top Russell Group university and will be studying at the Université de Strasbourg during my year abroad (2021-22). During my academic career, I have assisted students in improving their language, interpreting and essay-writing skills, which are indispensable for excelling in French GCSE and A-level. Alongside my studies, I have worked as a tutor assistant for Kumon as well as being a Customer Advisor for a well-known pharmaceutical retailer, which demonstrate my versatility and ability to embrace new challenges and work with different people. Throughout my university career, I have consistently achieved firsts in my assignments, including 90 in a second-year essay on 19th century French literature. French is not just an enjoyable subject, but a way of life for me as I never tire of immersing myself in francophone culture, and I would like to support students in discovering the joys of studying the French language and its extraordinary literature!

I provide lessons to students who are studying GCSE/A-Level French, although I am also keen to support university students (both post-A-level and beginners). I follow an individualised learning structure which adapts to my pupils' needs, e.g. adopting a more oral-based approach if my pupils wish to ameliorate their speaking skills. Depending on my pupils' interests, I incorporate the following elements into my classes:
