I grew up under a married teachers couple. By God’s amazing grace they still relatively happily married (from my standpoint).
How does this matter in my methodology? Described in one word my methodology is a covenant.
The gifts of coaching is purely a gift and I have made a covenant with God that I shall use this gift and talents to deliver and instill an Elite Player Performance Plan. To beginners through to intermediate individuals and teams.
I strive on players and teams to believe in themselves that they can do all things through God, discipline and hard work. Because working really hard is what successful coaches and players do.
My methodology focuses on an EPPP(Elite Player Performance Plan)
Here we periodize our sporting year and plan each session according to specific objectives. They vary from health and fitness goals, to physical performance goals, psychological goals and different types of energy systems etc. the process is the same consisting of daily & weekly objectives (MicroCycles); phases of training which are from General preparation phase; precompetition phase; in competition phase; post competition phase (mesocyles) then macro cycles are the season objectives and year objectives that have been set before us but usually by ourselves (my client(s) and I.
