I teach students in a way that they enjoy playing and from the beginning I try to emphasize the importance of practices. With each practice progress comes and this would make them enjoy more. For that I try to also involve the mothers if I can which would make a big difference especially when the student is young. I also like very much including parents or siblings if they wish for duets in our year end piano recitals which makes a great memory for all of us.
