About Troy
I am 22 year old music teacher from Tauranga! I have been teaching music down in wellington around my studies but have recently moved back to my home town! I have a lot of performance experience! Winning best Jazz pianist at the National Youth Jazz Competition both in 2018 and 2019. I have helped many students achieve their goals as up and coming musicians. I am confident I can develop both your piano ability and knowledge so you can get the most out of learning the instrument!

I approach my lessons around finding out what a students goals are around learning the piano. I then provide the student with the correct repertoire to have a fun and productive lesson.
I have over 4 years teaching experience in both group and one on one piano lessons. I have taught from age 5 up to students into there 20s! I have experience putting students through ABRSM exams and can proudly say I have a 100 percent pass rate!
I have a background in Jazz but have both taught and performed Classical, pop and rock styles of music also!
I typically do one hour lessons but are open to half an hour lessons.
