About Reza
Hello! My name is Reza, and I am a passionate and experienced French teacher with over eight years of teaching experience.
I hold a four-year university degree in French Language and Literature and have taught French to students from a wide range of backgrounds and proficiency levels. I also have experience teaching in a Canadian school environment, which has strengthened my skills in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and adapting instruction to different learning needs.
Teaching French is more than explaining grammar rules to me. I enjoy helping students become comfortable with the language, gain confidence in speaking, and see their progress over time. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and necessary part of learning a language, so I always aim to create a patient, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
I have also helped students prepare for French proficiency exams such as the TEF, TCF, and DELF, and I understand the importance of combining strong language skills with effective exam strategies.

My approach to teaching French is practical, structured, and adapted to each student's individual goals. With over eight years of experience teaching French, I have worked with students of different ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.
My lessons focus on developing all four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I combine grammar and vocabulary with real-life communication activities so that students not only understand French but also feel confident using it in everyday, academic, and professional situations.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of previous material, followed by a structured explanation of a new concept. We then practice through exercises, conversations, reading or listening activities, and practical situations. I regularly provide feedback and adjust the pace according to the student's progress and difficulties.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex grammar and vocabulary in a clear and accessible way. As an experienced French teacher and a language learner myself, I understand that every student learns differently. I am patient, encouraging, and attentive to the specific challenges each learner faces.
I also have extensive experience preparing students for French proficiency exams, including TEF, TCF, and DELF. I can help students develop effective strategies for speaking, listening, reading, and writing sections while improving their overall French proficiency.
My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults at all levels, from A1 beginners to advanced B2/C1 learners. Whether you want to learn French for everyday life, immigration, work, school, an official examination, or simply to become more confident speaking French, I will build the lessons around your objectives.
