About Adrien

I am a native French speaker currently studying at Sciences Po Paris and Sorbonne University, where I am pursuing a double degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.

I have been tutoring students for several years and decided to set up my own tutoring business last year. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with students of different ages and abilities, helping them with their schoolwork and making progress at their own pace.

I genuinely enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge. I am patient, approachable and reliable, and I always take the time to prepare my lessons properly. Being a student myself, I understand the challenges of learning and the importance of finding the right approach for each person.

I would be delighted to help you improve your French while also sharing a little of French culture along the way!

About the lesson

My lessons are adapted to each student's level and personal goals. I like to make learning active and enjoyable, with plenty of practice rather than just focusing on theory.

I often prepare quizzes and interactive activities to help students remember what they have learnt. I also like to go back to topics covered in previous lessons from time to time, to see what students remember and make sure their knowledge is building up over time. I believe that regular practice and revision are essential to making real progress.

I encourage students to ask questions and take an active part in each lesson. Lessons last at least one hour, but I am more than happy to teach for longer whenever needed.

I have previous experience tutoring secondary school students, including homework support and exam preparation. As a student at Sciences Po Paris and Sorbonne University, I can also share useful study methods and help students gain confidence in their abilities.

Adrien gave French lessons to my daughter in Paris, and I could not recommend him more highly. As a parent with dual nationality, it was particularly important to me to pass on my language and cultural heritage to my daughter. Adrien did an excellent job of helping her develop her French, using a wide range of references carefully selected to suit her interests and making every lesson both engaging and enjoyable. His teaching style was very interactive and playful, and he also made excellent use of English to explain concepts and make learning easier. He is a talented, thoughtful and dedicated teacher, and I am very grateful for the progress he helped my daughter make. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any family looking for a French tutor!
