About Emily
I am a PGCE trainee secondary music teacher with a strong passion for sharing my love of music. I play the cornet in a range of ensembles, including brass bands and a concert band, and I enjoy performing as well as teaching. I am loving teaching whole classes and would also like to support students who want extra lessons or tutoring, helping them grow in confidence and enjoyment of music.

I offer engaging, personalised lessons in brass, piano, and music theory for students of all ages and abilities. I am incredibly passionate about music, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with my students. My main aim is that you enjoy your lessons and find a love for making music. My teaching focuses on strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence in performing, all whilst keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for exams, or returning to music after a break, I adapt each lesson to suit your goals and learning style.
