About Chiara

"Salve a tutti! I'm Chiara, and I'm delighted to be your Italian language instructor. As a native Italian, I have a profound love for my language and culture. Five years ago, I embarked on an adventure by moving to the United States, where I discovered my passion for teaching Italian. I understand the challenges of learning a new language, as I learned English from scratch myself. It was through this journey that I discovered my love for sharing the richness of Italian with others. My experiences as a traveler have given me a deep appreciation for the cultural diversity in the world, and I'm excited to help you unlock the language that opens doors to the heart of Italy. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps or looking to refine your Italian skills, I'm here to guide you on this linguistic and cultural journey. Let's explore the beauty of Italian together!"

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques: My teaching method is designed to be immersive and communicative. I believe in the power of language in context, so I prioritize practical communication skills alongside grammar and vocabulary. I use a variety of techniques to cater to different learning styles, such as conversation practice, interactive activities, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios. My goal is to make learning Italian enjoyable and relatable. A Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson typically begins with a brief review of the previous material to reinforce learning. We then dive into a new topic or grammar concept, followed by interactive exercises and conversation practice to apply what's been learned. I incorporate multimedia resources like Italian music, movies, and literature to make the lessons engaging. Homework assignments may be given to reinforce learning between sessions. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor: What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for the Italian language and culture as a native speaker. I'm patient, adaptable, and dedicated to the success of my students. I tailor lessons to individual needs and goals, creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are open to a wide range of learners, from beginners with no prior knowledge of Italian to intermediate and advanced learners seeking to refine their language skills. Whether you're a student, a professional looking to enhance your career prospects, a traveler, or simply someone passionate about Italy and its language, my lessons can be adapted to your specific needs and interests.
