About Evgeniia
My name is Evgeniia, and I am a certified native teacher of Russian from Moscow. I graduated with distinction from Moscow City University with a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and Russian as a Foreign Language, and now I provide classes in both languages as a private tutor.
During my undergraduate studies, I participated in my department's annual conferences on Teaching English and Russian as a Foreign Language. I have a published academic paper in my university’s journal on “The peculiarities of teaching Russian as a foreign language to English language speakers” as part of student open conference "League of researchers of MCU".
My B.A. research thesis was written on the topic of dialogue-based approach to teaching Russian as a Foreign Language to L2 learners.
I recently completed an M.Phil in English Language Teaching with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin.
I have extensive experience teaching ESL and Russian as a Foreign Language in schools, educational institutions, language centres and as a private tutor.

I offer Russian classes to all age groups and levels, including:
-General Russian;
-Russian for Specific Purposes (Business Russian);
-Russian for Academic Purposes;
-Russian for Young Learners;
-Russian for Junior and Senior High School Students (Preparation for Leaving Certificate in Russian).
In my classes I adopt a learner centred approach, focusing on students’ individual learning needs. I also emphasise the importance of communication and interactive nature of lessons in Russian.
Additionally, my students also learn about Russian culture, literature, music & art.
