About Cristina
I have studied classical cello and piano in the conservatoire for the last 10 years and I am currently studying a Popular Music Performance degree as a singer. I am passionate about music and understand the theory behind it. I am very patient and could help you with many different things ranging from theory lessons, musical analysis or reading to cello and piano lessons.

I was taught following the Suzuki method and soon got introduced to Sevcik, Dupport and Popper...as they are essential. Nevertheless each student is different and teaching should adapt to their needs.
As for theory, I like to divide into solfage (reading intonation and rhythm), harmony theory (based on the circle of fifths) and harmonic analysis. However, theory and technique should always go hand in hand. It all makes more sense when you put your knowledge to practice! : )

Perfect! Cristina was fantastic..I would definitely recommend her to any parent looking for a lovely positive music teacher..she worked so hard with my son on both theory and piano lesson. Cristina has a great personalty and is extremely hard working..I was so glad to find her. My son improved so much in a short space of time..and really enjoyed each lesson.

I had the chance to meet Cristina in 2017 as a cello solist in a concert by the Sinfónica Madrid Orquesta, at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid. Cristina is a very talented cello and piano performer. Despite her youth she is very matured person. During the classes with my youngest son, Cristina has been always an amazing teacher ready to make him feel confident and calm.
Tuvimos la suerte de conocer a Cristina en el Conservatorio de Majadahonda cuando la contratamos para dar clases de violonchelo a nuestro hijo de 12 años. Cristina es una profesora con unos conocimientos técnicos y artísticos excepcionales. Domina el violonchelo, el piano y el lenguaje musical pero, además, tiene mucha paciencia enseñando, entusiasma y sabe cómo transmitir sus conocimientos a sus alumnos.
Cristina is a gifted musician but also an excellent teacher. She was very good at assessing my daughter’s abilities and interest and adjusting her lessons accordingly, making both the cello and theory lessons fun and challenging at the same time. She has a very calm manner and is very patient. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw my daughter play a cello duet with Cristina. I absolutely recommend her!!
