About Mathys
I am a native French speaker from Paris, currently living in Sydney. I am bilingual in French and English and recently completed a Master’s degree in International Business and Sales Management in France.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing my language and culture. Having learned to communicate fluently in English myself, I understand the challenges of learning and becoming confident in another language.
I am patient, approachable and reliable, and I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level and objectives. My goal is to make learning French both effective and enjoyable, whether you want to improve for work, travel, studies or simply for personal interest.

As a native French speaker and bilingual French-English speaker, I offer personalized French lessons adapted to your level, goals, and learning style.
Whether you are a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational skills, preparing for a trip to France, or simply wanting to become more confident and fluent, I will adapt each lesson to your needs.
My lessons can focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and everyday French. I also enjoy helping students understand how French is actually spoken in France, including common expressions and natural ways of communicating.
I aim to create a structured but relaxed learning environment where you can practice without being afraid of making mistakes.
Lessons are available for beginners to advanced learners and can be conducted in French or English depending on your level.
