About Leah
I am a 5th year student in The Insitute of Education, Dublin. I’m based in Wexford. I’ve been playing piano ever since I was 7 years old. I’m currently studying for my Grade 5 RIAM examination. I thoroughly enjoy teaching young people how to play, from the basics, to intricate musical theory.

My teaching methodology is almost entirely based on the Suzuki Method. Shin’ichi Suzuki believed that every child could become well-educated and learn an instrument in the same way that they learned language. He famously quoted, “I want to make good citizens. If a child hears fine music from the day of his birth and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity, discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart.” It is all about learning from your environment.
