About Carli
I graduted with a BSc Zoology degree in May of 2023. I started tutoring in 2020 as a way to make some money while studying at UP. I have always enjoyed helping, explaining and teaching people things, by trying to make it interesting so that the work can be remembered. I haven't tutored in 2024 because I completed an Animal Carer Internship since February and now am looking to tutor again. I do believe that the 4 years I have spent tutoring, has equipped me with the skills to easily evaluate what teaching/tutoring style a student needs to be able to succeed.

I tutor in Afrikaans and English. In a typical lesson we would go through subject matter and work through any information that is struggled with. Then questions and extra study materials are worked through to get the subject matter grounded and understood. I have 4 years of tutoring life sciences to grade 10 to 12 but had grade 12 learners mostly. I am also able to tutor basic BSc modules for 1st and some 2nd year students after completing my BSc Zoology degree at UP and tutoring a student in his Zoology module during 1st year.
