About Amira
I earned my Guitar Performance certificate from the University of Southern California with additional training in working with discouraged beginners. My 5 years of experience include helping students who have tried to learn guitar before and quit, those who feel frustrated with their progress, and people who think their hands aren't suited for guitar. I've developed patient, encouraging methods that help students push through initial difficulties.

Are your fingers hurting? Can't seem to make clean chords? Feel like everyone else learns faster than you? These are completely normal beginner experiences, and I've helped countless students work through these exact same challenges! If your fingers feel clumsy on the strings, we'll do exercises to build coordination slowly. If chords sound muffled, we'll adjust your hand position and practice until they ring clearly. If you feel like giving up, we'll take a step back and focus on something you CAN do well. If you think you're too slow, remember that everyone learns at their own pace and there's no rush. I've spent 5 years specializing in helping frustrated guitar beginners push through the difficult early stages and start actually enjoying making music.
