I let the student drive the tutoring. My main intention is to let them feel heard, and allow them to make mistakes. I often start my tutoring sessions by asking the student to talk me through the concept they are struggling with so I can see the holes in their understanding. Throughout the lesson, I work to patch those holes for the most efficient and effective tutoring sessions.

evan is a great tutor!! he has helped me understand math and science so much more and has given me many helpful tips and tricks on test taking!
Evan helped me greatly over this school year, he did a great job at the explaining the material and had a total understanding of everything that we talked about. He never made me feel like I was stupid even when I confused on the material at hand. Without him I know my grade would not be anywhere as good as it is now.
Over the years, Evan has proven to be a well-respected, dedicated tutor. Students appreciate his ability to present challenging mathematics in a way that is both fun and easy to understand. He is patient, truly cares for his students’ success and loves helping others find their way through all levels of study.
Evan is very friendly and intelligent!
