This summer, I worked as Assistant Head Coach for summer camps at one of the largest circus schools in the US.
Roxy was a standout coach on my team. Zey were incredibly kind and patient with our campers, adapting zen's approach to new disciplines to best support each campers needs.
Roxy continued to bring zen's cheerful nature to work each day, encouraging learning through play with a variety of juggling, clowning, and balance games.
On zen's own breaks, I'd often find Roxy juggling clubs, riding a unicycle or teaching zenself new tricks on the trampoline, showing zen's determination to develop zen's own skills every day.
I'm very grateful to have met Roxy this summer and look forward to working with zen again soon!

I'm the head coach for the summer camp program at Seattle's largest circus school, and I am thankful to have hired Roxy as one of my skills coaches this summer. I have been impressed these last few months- not only with with zen's own personal skill in juggling and other flow arts, but also with how well zey have taken to working with the kids. Roxy is great at using structured play to keep learning fun and engaging for everyone, and it is clear how much zey care about the well being of each student. Zey strive to meet each student where they're at, and are constantly learning and looking to expand zen's coaching tool kit in order to better do so.

Roxy is patient, and kind. Their instruction approach is gentle, and full of curiosity and play. I've watched them develop their teaching style over the last few years and always enjoy seeing how they connect with the quietest and most reluctant students.
