About Steven
Supporting young singers through the chaotic shifts of puberty defines my daily work at my Nashville studio. I admit that witnessing those awkward range cracks remains the most rewarding part of my career.
Since earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Oklahoma, I have guided voices from age 10 all the way up to 54. Over these 13 years, I have helped individuals secure spots in competitive BFA drama programs and navigate the high pressure of national tours. My approach is rooted in an ear-sharp, kind, and motivating philosophy. I meet singers exactly where they are currently, whether they are preparing for an open-mic residency or simply finding their confidence.

Warm air fills the room as we begin with gentle breathing exercises to settle your nerves before hitting the first note. You will find that our time together focuses heavily on vocal health, belting technique, and managing stage fear through consistent practice.
Because I maintain a personalized song list built around your specific range, you never have to worry about singing pieces that do not fit your voice. We spend significant time on diction, rhythm, phrasing, and pitch control to ensure you feel secure in your craft. My 13 years of technical training inform how I break down complex mechanics into manageable steps for your growth.
