About Rachel
I was sitting in a crowded Buenos Aires cafe when I realized how language and music intertwine. That moment changed my perspective on teaching. I have spent 18 years working with kids, teens, and advanced learners to demystify complex grammar. My role is to bridge the gap between textbook Spanish and the vibrant reality of Latin American variants. I specialize in reading comprehension and interview preparation for high stakes scenarios. Vocabulary building is the foundation of everything I do. I am deeply committed to the success of my students. Sometimes simple practice is the best path forward. Starting with our first session, we will likely jump straight into a mix of role play and dialogue practice to test your comfort with natural speech. I integrate my 18 years of experience in the Latin music scene to make pronunciation and vocabulary building feel authentic for teens and advanced learners. We will compare Latin American vs Castilian variants while you utilize my free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes for your daily study. Whether you are focusing on business Spanish or preparing for the DELE, I ensure that our conversation flows naturally. I keep the environment light so you feel confident expressing yourself in new ways. You will find that our time together centers on practical application.
