About Chin Tong
Won Chin Tong was born into a family living in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia and studied painting from childhood until adulthood for 26 years. She is the dean of the Malaysian Academy of Fine Arts. She has built a distinct style based on her dedication to creating realistic characters, and realism plays a significant role in her artistic career. Tradition, expressiveness, and art as well as the emotional experience of classical culture are conveyed in her paintings. She was captivated by the originality, the unwavering faith, and the breathtaking color and form that their paintings captured.
