About Anya
I am a yoga teacher and conscious events facilitator with a background in performing arts. During my artistic journey, I regularly practised yoga and meditation and as a result noticed extremely positive effects in my creative practice and general well-being. I felt inspired to help others feel the same way and went to India to study yoga. Upon return to London, I decided to bring my passion for creativity and spirituality together by setting up the company for conscious events - Placeom. The events include an indulgent mix of yoga, meditation, breathwork, painting, creative and reflective writing and most importantly movement and dance. A few years after setting up Placeom, I continued my journey by becoming a full-time yoga instructor, working at various gyms and studios across London. My teaching is rooted in the spiritual aspect of yoga. My classes focus a lot on connecting to the flow state and shifting awareness to the present moment. I mostly teach Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin, adapting these styles to match my sparkle. Background in dance and theatre provides me with a fresh perspective on the mind-body connection and adds a new twist to the way I design and lead my events and classes. I love working from an intuitive place, utilising my imagination to generate new and original events each time. Creating a positive shift in someone’s perspective, however small, is what drives me the most. My favourite part of teaching yoga is feeling beautiful, shared energy at the end of a class and seeing smiles on people's faces. My journey with yoga, spirituality and art continues as I keep on learning and discovering new edges and shades of these beautiful modalities.

My teaching is rooted in spirituality and finding ways to connect to ourselves. Classes often start with setting the intention, connecting to our breath and bringing wandering minds into the now. During the class I make sure the breath is aligned with the movement and that students are fully focused on connecting the mind to the body. I emphasise specific sensations students should be experiencing in the muscles in each pose in order to ensure the maximum benefit. I also focus on correct alignment whilst ensuring that the flow is not broken. I have a new special offer with Yin Yoga and Sound bath. I absolutely love Yin and believe that the softness and depths of this practice is a much needed antidote for the rushing and forcing of everyday life. Adding magical frequency of crystal bowls and heavenly chimes will put you in a soft cocoon letting you melt and relax completely. Message me to enquire about the details and prices.

Anya is a very talented, dedicated and passionate teacher. She constantly innovates in her classes and workshops, bringing yoga, creativity and spirituality together. She also makes everyone feel at ease no matter what level they're at, being very patient and attentive.
Anya is is super passionate and has a really calming way of carrying out her classes. As a complete newbie to the world of yoga I was worried that I would have issues following but Anya gives variations on the moves and I have found that I progressed a lot. I love the classes and find them great to get in tune with my body and lower my stress levels...it's also a great form of exercise for muscle toning!
I would recommend the class for beginners that have good body conditioning and advanced students as well.She is a great yoga teacher, very patient and empathetic. She pays attention to all her students and has extensive experience on teaching yoga online. Highly recommend.

Anya's yoga classes are constructed in a way that calms the mind and reacquaints the body to itself. This journey is explored very beautifully through fluidity and creativity. Would definitely recommend her classes

Details
The price displayed is the middle average. The cost of a single lesson is £55. If you purchase a pack of four lessons the first class is free. You receive a 20% discount for a pack of 8 classes and a 30% discount for a pack of 12 classes which comes down to 38.50 per class. Yin Yoga and Soundbath is a delicious offering for £70 a session that lasts approx. 1hr30min. Available for a couple as well.
