About Sharmila
I started practicing yoga in 2018 after a spinal and neck injury, when my doctor recommended it as part of my recovery. What began as a necessity soon became a lifelong practice—I experienced firsthand how yoga can heal, strengthen, and transform both body and mind. After 10 years of personal practice and growth, I felt inspired to share these benefits with other women. Today, I am a Yoga Alliance USA certified instructor specializing in prenatal, postnatal, and women’s health-focused yoga. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where women—whether expecting, recovering, or simply looking to move with confidence—can reconnect with their bodies, ease pain, reduce stress and anxiety, and build lasting strength. Students often describe me as patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I believe yoga is not about perfection, but about progress—meeting you where you are, and guiding you gently forward.

My classes combine safe prenatal and postnatal yoga techniques with mindful breathing and relaxation practices. Each session is 60 mins long and begins with grounding and breathwork, moves into gentle yet effective postures for mobility, strength, and circulation, and closes with deep relaxation or yoga nidra.
The focus is on helping women ease back pain, improve posture, breathe better, reduce stress and anxiety, and feel more connected to their bodies. These benefits are especially supportive during pregnancy and postnatal recovery, but also valuable for any woman seeking sustainable, women-focused yoga.
These sessions are for expecting mothers, new mothers, and women of all ages who want to move safely, release tension, and build calm strength from the comfort of home
